Dr. Gail Weingast’s career as a radiologist is grounded in extensive training across multiple disciplines. Starting with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Tufts University in 1969, she pursued her medical education at Boston University’s School of Medicine, earning her MD in 1976. Her postgraduate journey included a pediatrics internship and residency at Colorado General Hospital, followed by a radiology residency from 1980 to 1983 and an ultrasound fellowship. Dr. Gail Weingast continued her studies at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver and has since built a distinguished career in radiology and ultrasound, currently serving as Chief of Ultrasound and Breast Imaging at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut.
